Chocolate Peppermint Dipped Pretzels
Chocolate Peppermint Dipped Pretzels are easy to make and loved by anyone of any age. This recipe is simple and perfect for the holiday season and the best part is that it takes little time to make and requires very few ingredients that can be changed according to your preferences.
Ingredients
-
Chocolate Melting Wafers
-
Crushed Peppermints
-
Pretzel Rods
** This can be made with either milk, dark or white chocolate melting wafers.

Directions
Using a microwave-safe bowl, place the chocolate wafers into the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir the wafers togther until smooth. Microwave the chocolate for an additional 15 seconds if the chocolate is too thick (or starts to thicken after a while of dipping the pretzels).
Pour the melted chocolate into a tall glass (this makes it easier to dip the pretzel rods in). If you don't have a tall glass, or just don't feel like dirty-ing another dish, the microwave-safe bowl works just fine. I recommend using a spoon to pour the chocolate on the higher areas of the pretzel.

Once dipped, swirl the pretzel around the top of the bowl to remove any extra chocolate. This will also smooth out the chocolate around the pretzel.
Lightly sprinkle the crushed candy cane onto the chocolate-coated area of the pretzel and set it on a piece of wax paper to dry.
Wait about 10 minutes for the chocolate to fully harden before eating.
