Tacos
In my house, everyone looks foward to Taco night. It only takes about 15 minutes to make Tacos, which is great after a long and busy day. The best thing about Tacos is that you can build it any way you want (a great aspect when you have picky eaters in the house). Check out the recipe below and add you favorite Taco toppings into the mix! A great side to add to Taco night is Nachos! All you have to do is sprinkle shredded cheese on tortilla chips and put it in the oven for less than 10 minutes!
Ingredients
-
1 Lb of Ground Turkey
-
1/2 packet of Taco seasoning
-
1 box of Taco Shells
-
1 small bowl of Chopped lettuce
-
1 small bowl of Chopped tomatoes and onions
-
1 small bowl of Shredded cheese
-
1 can of Refried beans
-
1 small bowl of Sour Cream
-
1 small bowl of Salsa (mild, medium or hot)

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees for the taco shells and nachos.
Chop up the lettuce in bite size strips and place it into a small serving bowl.
Dice the tomatoes and onions and place in a small serving bowl.

Cook the ground turkey in a non-stick pan and add 1/2 a packet of the taco mix. Once the ground turkey is fully cooked, drain the excess liquid from the pan.
Place the taco shells in the oven for approximately 5 minutes. (This allows them to become more crispy and golden).
In a microwave safe bowl, add the refried beans and heat them for approximately 1 minute.
Pour the sour cream, shredded cheese, salsa into small serving bowls.
Place all of the Taco makings on the table, build your Taco and enjoy!
